AP Government Exam Review

Teachers never want to spend time focusing on test prep. Instead, they would rather create engaging lessons for students to have fun learning. However, the reality is that assessment results play a huge part in today’s education system. Unfortunately, assessment results often are a crucial part of teacher evaluations and determining scholarships for students. Many times, the results often dictate which courses students can even take. Therefore, teachers have to review content and prepare students for high-stakes testing. Thankfully, exam review does not have to be boring! It can be really exciting and fun! Students can simply focus on the content and show what they know versus trying to stay awake. Luckily, the AP US Government Review Packet and Exam Review Unit provide interactive ways to focus on the material. Ultimately, this includes everything needed for eight weeks of AP Government Exam review!

    AP Government Review

    AP US Government Review Packet

This 11-page review packet is perfect for AP US Government and Politics. Whether creating your curriculum or using a textbook, it will make review time easier! Thus, prep work will also be minimal. It is a PDF so it can be printed or shared with students. Ultimately, this means the assignment is ready for immediate implementation.

Honestly, this AP Government exam review packet contains so much content. For instance, students will define the principles of the Constitution. Additionally, they will recall critical details about the legislative, executive, and judicial branches. This includes information about leadership, including the House of Representatives and the Senate. Furthermore, students will focus on how elections work and lobbying among interest groups. The 11-pages include so much information to ensure students review all knowledge learned during the course. Thankfully, it will help all gain confidence about upcoming exams.

    Exam Review Unit

This huge review will lead students to success on any AP Government and Politics exam! It has over 300 items in the unit to ensure nothing is left out. Due to the amount of material, the review unit lasts approximately four weeks. With over 13 years of teaching experience on this course, it includes a pre-planned calendar for implementation. Additionally, it contains complete lesson plans to avoid confusion during such a critical review. The focus and order are statistically proven to help students perform incredibly well on the exam!

Students will think critically about several topics. Best of all, they will have fun with all of the activities included. For instance, students will complete the review using cooperative group activities. Since students love to talk, these activities allow them to be social while focusing on content. Also, students will work in centers and stations to bring in movement versus only activities while sitting at desks. There are even games to keep students motivated throughout the review activities. Notably, there are practice tests and assessments for students to take. Using these will make students less nervous when the official exam occurs.

    Teacher Benefits

Every teacher is so busy. From managing everything in the classroom to life outside of work, there is never a time to take a break. Thankfully, everything within this eight-week AP Government Exam review is incredibly organized. Each item has its own folder and includes links whenever needed. Each activity is also modifiable. Additionally, I teach this unit each year. Therefore, I often update the resources to best meet the changing needs of students. Thankfully, the updates are FREE every time I make them. Thus, you pay for the unit once and will always be able to download the updated resources with no additional charge. Lastly, I understand different questions come up when implementing new resources. Therefore, you can receive email support directly from me.

Assessment review should be engaging and interactive for students! Assessments can be stressful and tedious. After review, students will have the confidence to do their best after fun review activities. Thankfully, the AP US Government Review Packet and Exam Review Unit provides for eight fun weeks of AP Government exam review.
