US History Timeline

The United States is a remarkable country. There are so many challenges, triumphs, and individuals to learn about. However, students may not realize how lucky they are to live in America. Instead, they often want to focus on other countries or wish they live in a different area. Thus, teachers work hard to ensure students realize how exceptional the United States is. One incredible way to do this involves the US History Timeline display for the classroom!

Importance of Visual References

Honestly, high school students are going to daydream. Some will daydream for a lot of time while others only will occasionally.  However, teachers must realize this aspect and try to work with it instead of fighting it. For instance, hanging up posters that fit the curriculum is a great way to help students still focus on content. Yes, they may daydream and miss part of the current lesson, but this is sometimes unavoidable due to their age. Fortunately, many will focus on the visual references while zoning out the lesson. This means that students are still absorbing material as they look at it.

US History Timeline

This product will enhance your classroom through educational-focused classroom decor! Specifically, the timeline has 29 events included. Teachers can even edit and modify the events before printing to hang up. Honestly, this product makes a great visual reference for any wall in your classroom!

There are a few different ways to use this product. For instance, teachers can slowly hang up events as students learn about them. Or, teachers can hang up the entire timeline at once and use the timeline to guide instruction. The timeline will be a great way to highlight all of the fascinating history students will learn about!

Teacher Benefits

As a secondary Social Studies teacher, I truly understand the lack of resources. Additionally, high school teachers have a multitude of preps. On top of all this, they need to create lessons that will hold the interest of students who would rather be on their cell phones. Thus, I love sharing products that benefit teachers and make planning easier and quicker. Additionally, my products are always ready to go from purchase. Likewise, implementation is seamless with how organized all files are. Teachers will not waste any time searching files to find what they need. Importantly, products are all driven by proven results. As a classroom teacher, I know what it is like to be assessed based on high-stakes testing. Thus, I update and add lesson plans to ensure students’ growth and improvement.

The US History Timeline will be the perfect way to show students how our world has evolved and grown over time. Students will see how strong our country is and how important it is to stay united. Ultimately, students will appreciate the rich history of the United States with this timeline. You might also like this timeline project.

My best-selling George Washington activity involves stations to build background knowledge or apply skills. Students thoroughly enjoy getting up to move and apply higher order thinking to the different centers about George Washington.

So get movin' 💪🏻💯
